Is there a waiver?
biking / cooking departures
Anyone participating in an Adams & Peabody travel adventure must sign a liability waiver. This document attests as a written acknowledgment of the risks involved in any adventure travel experience. Whether biking down the Alpe d’Huez or visiting a bee farm, the numbers of hazards are plentiful to anyone who doesn’t know how to ride a bike or has an allergy to bee stings.
At Adams & Peabody, safety is our number one priority: no one can enjoy themselves if they don’t feel secure within a safe enviroment. Before departing for any Adams & Peabody adventure, a secure link will be sent to every participant allowing them to accesses remotely our Waiver of Liability Form. You will be able to sign securely and print off this document for your records.
We also will ask privately for medical and allegy information. If you are family with any intolerances to foods, medications or anything else, please let us know. We will keep this information secure to inform our field team of any concerns they shold be aware of.
Travel Protection – or Travel Insurance Coverage – helps protect you against the unexpected. Travel Insurance helps you during times of medical need in a foreign country: whether an accident or an allergic reaction, Travel Insurance can help cover medical costs abroad. If you are traveling with a previously documented medical condition, travel insurance is practically mandatory.
But the benefits of travel insirance don’t stop at medical emergencies. If you injure yourself before your trip, a conprehensive plan could reimbourse you the majority of your trip. If you experience any natural, political or other phenomenon during the trip, special policies will help you get home.
Adams & Peabody highly recommends that each of our trip participants purchases a travel insurance plan. We recommend Travel Insured International policies. They are comprehensive and provide multiple options for your specific travel needs. Be sure to check out their products and coverage before you embark on your next adventure.
